Description:

The site on the Northern end of the Spencer Gulf has 300m of elevation within 2km of the coast close to high voltage transmission lines. Initial feasibility study released by the ARENA found project could generate 225 MW of electricity with eight hours of storage using seawater. The project includes an upper and lower reservoir sized to store 3.5 GL of water each.
