Description:

The proposal area is approximately 800 ha and of which around half will be developed on. 922,432 solar panels are planned to be installed on either mounted on fixed or tracking systems. There is provision for a 30MWh lithium-ion battery. There is an existing TransGrid substation ~900m east of the site as well as a 330 kV transmission line. Following the public exhibition period the proposed energy generation was reduced from 400 MW to 290 MW.
