Sustainable Energy Infrastructure (SEI) continues its rapid
pace of solar farm construction into 2025 with two new projects underway in NSW,
the Mulwala Energy Park and the Condobolin Solar Farm.
Typical of all SEI’s projects across NSW, Victoria and South Australia both new projects are around the 5 MW capacity mark and will be built under a long-standing agreement with construction partner YES Group.
The 4.95 MW Mulwala Energy Park, located in the Riverina district of NSW on the Victorian border, will feature around 11,700 JA Solar PV panels and Sungrow inverters.
It’s SEI’s second project in the area, with the 4.99 MW Mulwala Solar Farm completed in September 2023.
YES Group has also started construction on SEI’s 5.86 MW AC Condobolin Solar Farm in central NSW. The project will consist of 12,150 Longi panels and SMA inverters.
Last year the SEI/YES Group team commissioned the 4.85 MW Barnawartha Solar Farm in Victoria, the 4.99 MW Werris Creek Solar Farm in NSW, the 4.95 MW Monarto Solar Farm in SA, the 4.95 MW Kadina Solar Farm in SA, and the 4.99 MW Nyngan Solar Farm in NSW, as well as the 5 MW / 10 MWh Direk Distributed BESS project in northern Adelaide.
Between 2021 to 2023 SEI completed a further seven solar farms, and currently has numerous distributed BESS projects underway in regional Victoria in partnership with ACLE Services.
